Let your waves crash down on me and take me away

So, I am well aware that it is 5:30am and I still haven't slept. In case you haven't noticed I am quite the insomniac :). Anyways, classes start Monday and I am thoroughly looking forward to them. It has been to long of the same old thing day in and day out, it's good to mix things up a bit.

I managed to almost take down an entire sheet pizza last night single handedly. If it wasn't for my buddy Joe and Laurel, it would have been so! But its all good, they enjoyed it as well. And that means I hit the gym tomorrow hard...

And for my political tid-bit, Scott Brown, congrats!

And by the way, if you are wondering what the title of this particular post is about, its a lyric from the song Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard, I highly recommend it.

Lastly, as you can see, the picture above is quite the fail. I will try my best to provide you with some of my favorite fails I happen to come across on the internet or if I happen to see one myself. The "lynch 4th graders" sign is not my own, but the deer crossing sign with a protruding object is indeed my own finding. This is just a reminder to, be logical.

America and James Bond's "A View to Kill"....one and the same?

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/01/21/chavez_us_weapon_test_caused_haiti_earthquake.html

Ok, so the above link is something a friend of mine recently showed me, it will bring you to a news snip-it of Chavez accusing the United States of using a tectonic weapon to cause the earthquake in Haiti. Now granted, the US is pretty badass, but don't you think this is a bit absurd? Quite hilarious. In fact, this sounds an awful like James Bond "A View to Kill." Shall we investigate?

Look for yourself! I promise it's there if you are so interested.

But in all seriousness, this was absolutely ridiculous and thought I should share. And remember Chavez, be logical.

Intro to blogging

Well, I am pretty new to blogging so allow me to start off by telling you a bit about myself.

  • I am a Physical Education, Adapted Physical Education, and Exercise Physiology major at SUNY The College at Brockport.
  • I am addicted to running. I love every aspect of it and I find it to be a great release for just about anything (stress, sorrow, happiness, anger, etc.). When I competitively run, I normally run events between 55 meters and 800 meters (the 400 meter dash being my best).
  • I play the alto saxophone and the harmonica. I mostly enjoy playing and writing jazz and funk.
  • I am an extremely conservative republican. As you will probably see from my future posts. But I am open to any discussions.
  • In my spare time I enjoy hanging with friends and playing video games.

And I must say that

  1. Laughter is the best medicine. For anything.
  2. My life motto, in the words of Steve Prefontaine; "To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice The Gift."

And lastly, my blog won't neceserrily pertain to one subject or another, but will talk about all walks of life. Many times I will discuss what I thought were the logical decisions I have made (or others), while other times I could talk about what I had for dinner. So keep reading what I have to say and remember, be logical.
